In my continuing quest to provide the New York City District ARES with leaders of the highest caliber; Individuals who are motivated and proven “Team” players, I have appointed Gabe Guzman (W2KJQ – W2KJQ@arrl.net) as an Assistant District Emergency Coordinator. Gabe will be taking on the responsibility of revitalizing the Bronx County ARES, including, but not limited to heading up a major recruitment program, re-initiating a regularly scheduled Net, and assuring that Bronx County ARES becomes a healthy functioning part of the NYC District.
